A role for a HMP Dental Officer has become available near Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Dental Officer seeking a secure and structured environment within a male Category C prison setting. The role offers stability, a well-organised schedule, and strong support from experienced leadership and dental nurses.

About the Position:

• £450 per day – FTE/D.O.E. NHS Pension
• Work without any UDA Targets
• One day per week available (excluding Thursday and Friday)
• Opportunity for temp-to-perm transition if preferred
• NHS basic dentistry only – complex cases referred
• GDC registration and APN required
• At least 2 years post-Foundation experience preferred (may consider 1 year)
• Clear DBS with no criminal offences required

About the Practice:

• Secure environment with chaperones and security protocols
• Structured clinical sessions with two 3-hour slots and a 1-hour lunch
• Full chairside assistance from experienced dental nurses
• Established prison dental service with a focus on routine care
• Appointment times typically 15-20 minutes for check-ups
• Access to NHS superannuation scheme
• Company assistance programme and CPD training days
