Our client, a well-established training practice with a list size of 16,500 patients, is seeking an experienced and motivated salaried GP to join their team of four partners, three salaried GPs, and nursing and administrative staff to provide high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will have access to a supportive nursing team consisting of one ANP, two physician associates, a nurse prescriber, five nurses, and an HCA. The practice runs on the efficient EMIS clinical system, with a full complement of administrative and reception staff, and is led by an experienced practice manager. As a salaried GP, you will have six clinical sessions per week with a range of sessional pay offered, starting at £10,500, depending on experience. The practice will provide indemnity coverage through the MDU group policy.
This position offers an excellent work-life balance with on-call rota and rare visit expectations, and the opportunity for professional development with regular clinical meetings held every two weeks. There is also a potential route to partnership for suitable candidates. The typical set-up of the GP’s day includes 15 morning appointments, using e-consult, calls, and face-to-face consultations, and 12 afternoon appointments. Time allocated for administrative tasks will be after patient contacts. Late doctor sessions extend until 6:30 pm on a rota.
